Aims:

•  Promoting and developing the publishing industry, especially in the UAE.

•  Recognizing the contributions of distinguished publishers to the industry.

•  Encouraging the publishers for deeper involvement in UAE's socio-cultural     activities through quality productions.

•  Protecting the intellectual/literary rights.

Conditions

•  Nominees should be members of the Publishers' Union of their countries.

•  Nominee should be a strict follower of the publishing ethics, intellectual /     literary rights.

•  Nominee should have published at least 10 publications during the current     year.

•  Last date to receive the nomination is 15th September 2010 .

Requirements:

•  Filling of the nomination form.

•  Full address, telephone numbers and email address.

•  A brief summary about the publishing house it's specialization, standards and     trends.

•  List of the house publications.

•  A self declaration that the book had not won any prizes before.
